Ron Bateman announced he's running for re-election as Anne Arundel County Sheriff.
According to his recent press release, Bateman stated on Friday, "I am excited to announce the official filing today for my re-election as the Sheriff of Anne Arundel County. For the past 11 years, we are proud to have taken our agency to new levels while stacking up a large list of notable results."
Bateman states that one of his major goals for 2018 is to start the first Automated Court Date Notification program in Maryland.
