The Anne Arundel County Police Department's newest member has four legs.
Comfort is a facility assistance dog and will serve as a goodwill ambassador at community events and also visit children at school. Comfort will also be used in the Child Advocacy Center when a child is a witness or victim of a crime.
Comfort joins the department from Canine Companions for Independence. The organization provides highly trained assistance dogs and ongoing support to ensure quality partnerships.
