Maryland Department of Natural Resources Police are investigating a possible drowning in Annapolis.
A man was swimming with a friend about 30 feet from the shoreline at Truxton Park when he went under the water and didn't come back up, according to the Annapolis Fire Department.
The incident happened around 2:22 p.m. Friday. Following an extensive search, the victim was found dead in several feet of water.
The medical examiner will retrieve the body.
