GLEN BURNIE, Md. — Anne Arundel County Police have identified the two victims who were killed in Sunday’s double homicide at a Glen Burnie apartment complex.

Officers responded to the complex in the 300 block of Highland Drive at about 4:50 p.m., where they found one person dead in the parking lot, and another person dead in an apartment.

The 20-year-old victim found in the parking lot was identified as Antwon Elijah Queen, of the 500 block of Baltic Avenue in Brooklyn. The man found dead in the apartment was identified as 24-year-old Antwan Troy Briggs, of no fixed address. An autopsy will be conducted Monday to determine the exact manner of death for each victim, police said.

Homicide detectives and evidence technicians responded to the scene to collect evidence and canvas the area for witnesses, of which many were interviewed, police said. Police currently believe this was a targeted attack and not a random act of violence.

An investigation is ongoing. Anyone who may have information about the murders should contact Homicide detectives at 410-222-4731. Anonymous tipsters can use the police tip line at 410-222-4700 or call Metro Crime stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP.
