ANNAPOLIS, Md. — An overturned tractor trailer shut down the eastbound side of the Bay Bridge for more than four hours Wednesday night.
It all began around 7:20 p.m., causing traffic on both sides to back up for miles.
MDOT eventually began two-way operations to relieve some of the congestion.
By 11:25 p.m. MDOT said all lanes had been re-opened.
REOPENED: EB Bay Bridge, all lanes clear. Westbound delays ended, eastbound delays at 1 mile. #mdtraffic
