One dead another in critical after Pasadena fire

One dead and a man is in critical condition after a Pasadena fire breaks out late Friday night.

Neighbors of the 4400 block of Forsythia Lane notified 911 of a dwelling fire with two individuals possibly trapped just after 11:30 p.m.

Fire fighters arrived and found a fire showing from the living room windows of the one-story home.

Crews searched the home for victims and found one located towards the rear of the home.

A man believed to be in his 50s, was in cardiac arrest when he was removed from the house.

Officials say he was resuscitated by paramedics and transported to the burn center at Johns Hopkins Bayview with critical life-threatening injuries.

A second victim was found in the living room after the fire was extinguished. The victim was pronounced dead on scene.

The identity of the victim will be released after positive identification has been established and next of kin notified.

Fire officials have determine there were no working smoke alarms in the house at the time of the fire.

Anne Arundel fire is still investigating this incident.
