One dead, 2 others injured after car flips into Jessup embankment

The United States Park Police are investigating a two car crash that left one man dead, and two others injured. 

According to officials, firefighters responded to a two car crash on Route 295 near Route 175 around 2:40 Sunday morning. 

Reports say one of drivers drove off the road and flipped down an embankment. 

The driver of the car, a man in his late 40's, was ejected during the crash and declared dead on the scene. 

The passenger, a 47-year-old man, has serious injuries. He was taken to a local shock trauma center with injuries that were considered non life-threatening.

There were two other people in the first car that were not injured. 

One of the people in the other car involved, a 36-year-old woman, was also injured. She was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

The other person in the second car was not injured. 

It's not clear at the moment how the two cars are related in this crash.
