CROFTON, Md. — A motorcyclist died following a crash Saturday night in Crofton.
Just before 11:30 p.m., Sergei Alexander Bower, was riding a Yamaha southbound on Crain Highway near Cronson Bloulevard.
A Chevy Equinox heading the same way switched lanes to turn right into a gas station, colliding with Bower.
Bower was thrown from the bike and died on scene. The driver and 11-year-old passenger in the Chevy were not injured.
Police haven't determined who was at fault, and are looking into whether speed or alcohol played a factor.
