ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WMAR) — An 80-year-old woman and 54-year-old man are in critical condition after the man's car backed up over the both of them.
Annapolis Police say it happened Monday evening in a parking lot in the 1000 block of Norman Drive.
The man was backing up his vehicle when he struck the woman.
When he noticed someone had been struck, the driver got out of the vehicle but failed to put it in park, causing the car to back up over him as well.
Both victim's were flown by helicopter to Shock Trauma in critical condition but are expected to survive.
