A 38-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries, and two children suffered minor injuries, in a crash in Linthicum Heights Sunday night, the Anne Arundel County Fire Department said.

Paramedics and firefighters responded to a crash where a minivan left I-695 near Campe Meade Road and came to rest near the Light Rail Tracks, about one-quarter mile from Twin Oaks Road, fire officials said.

The 38-year-old driver was taken to R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore with critical, potentially life-threatening injuries, fire officials said. A 3-year-old girl and a 6-year-old girl also sustained minor injuries in the crash.
