A man that was hit by a police car while crossing the street on Sunday remains in stable condition.
On Wednesday police identified the man as Kenneth Scott White. The incident happened on February 4 just before 7:00 p.m. on Ft. Smallwood Road near Elizabeths Landing Way in Pasadena.

A witness driving in the same area reported just missing hitting the man as he crossed the road moments before he saw a police car hit him. Anne Arundel County Police said the person in the road did not yield to traffic and was not in a crosswalk. Speed and alcohol are not factors in this crash.
The officer that hit White, Officer Beavers, is a five year veteran of the force.
