EDGEWATER, Md. — A man is reported dead after he fell at the end of a pier into Rhode River and didn't resurface.
Anne Arundel County Fire officials say their crews along with Annapolis firefighters were called to 1001 Cars Wharf Road just before 4 a.m. on Sunday for the reported drowning.
Divers responded to the area and found the man an hour-and-a-half later. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
