Local cheer squad brings home 9 First Place wins

CROFTON, Md. (WMAR) - Give me a "P" for Platinum Force, now a National Force in cheer.

It has been a lifetime dream of Robina Rives to own a gym where she can teach cheerleading. After all, she was the best with Baltimore Spirit Soccer Team a few years ago.

So, Coach rives converted an old Pep Boys in Crofton into her dream palace.

Just last week, her Black Onyx team went to Florida and won a national title. This club made up of 6 to 11-year-olds won first place 9 times, and second once, and now two national medals.

Nobody is perfect right? Except when it comes to the Black Onyx they are perfect on the floor.
