ANNAPOLIS, Md. — She’s a wife, a mother, an aunt. She’s a sister, a daughter, a lacrosse coach and a runner.

And she’s 40! She also has Cystic Fibrosis.

In her sixth week of life, she found out she will have cystic fibrosis for the rest of her life. But, Jennifer McKinnon turned 40 on Tuesday, a true miracle.

McKinnon is out running six miles every other day and is working to run the St. Michael's half-marathon in May.

She married her high school sweetheart Eddie and has been married to him for 15 years. Her sister came to the rescue to deliver Jennifer's two gorgeous girls who are now 8-years-old.

On Thursday, she plans to hold a birthday bash at Union Jacks in Annapolis starting at 6 p.m. Everyone is invited and money raised will go toward Cystic Fibrosis research.
