A man died a week after he was involved in a Glen Burnie crash.

Officers responded to a multiple vehicle crash on Crain Highway and 5th Avenue in Glen Burnie on June 11, at 11:57 a.m.

Since the crash, one of the passengers, Thomas Sheeder, was in the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. On Tuesday, traffic investigators were notified that Sheeder died from his injuries.

The crash started when a Honda Civic, driven by Patricia Sipe, was traveling southbound on Crain Highway. Sipe made a left turn into the path of a Honda Accord, who was moving northbound.

Sipe was traveling with two other passengers, Wayne Sipe and Sheeder.

The result of the collision left both Patricia and Wayne Sipe with non-life threatening injuries.

Speed and/or alcohol do not appear of the cause of the crash. The Traffic Safety Section is handling the investigation and any charges are pending review by the State’s Attorney’s Office.
