BALTIMORE — The Coast Guard and Anne Arundel County Fire Department rescued four boaters from Herring Bay on Friday.
One of the individuals aboard used a cell phone to call for help when the boat began taking on water.
The Coast Guard dispatched two rescue boat crews from Annapolis.
When they got there, crews rescued two people aboard, helped get rid of some of the water, and towed the boat to Herrington Harbour North Marina. The other two on board were transported back to land by an Anne Arundel County Fire boat.
There were no reported injuries.
