Two firefighters were taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center after sustaining non-life threatening injuries during a fire in Riviera Beach.
The fire was in the basement of a townhouse in the 1000 block of Chestnut Haven Court on Tuesday afternoon. The firefighters walked into the first floor from a back entrance, and fell through the floor to the basement.
No one else was injured. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
