Seniors at Annapolis High School learned an important lesson Wednesday and it wasn't inside the classroom.
Prom season is just around the corner and it's the perfect time for students to be reminded that decisions they make on prom night could be permanent.
Drunk driving among teens is a reality that happens far too often. A staged event was organized to demonstrate the dangers of driving drunk or riding with someone who was drinking.
Even though the students knew it was a staged event, the gravity of the message was not lost on them.
One student said, "knowing that we have many friends that drive, we don't want to lose any friends in a scene like this. Witnessing this makes you consider the things you do."
