Police in Anne Arundel County is investigating a fatal crash on Sunday that claimed the life of a Pasadena man.
Around 12:15 a.m. officers responded to a crash on Harmons Road. A motorcyclist identified as 32-year-old Paul Jones was allegedly speeding east on MD 100, making several lane changes. That’s when he hit the back of a pickup truck.
Jones was pronounced dead at the scene by fire department personnel. The driver of the pickup was not injured.
Investigators say the cause of the crash is Jones losing control of his motorcycle due to excessive speed. Charges may be pending upon review by the State's Attorney.
