Crash on Bay Bridge leaves 1 dead

One is dead and three others are rushed to the hospital after crash on the Bay Bridge in Anne Arundel County.

Maryland Transportation Authority Police are saying that 2:22 am a 2011 Mazda Sedan and a 2014 box truck collided while going east bond on the bridge.

Of the four people in the Mazda, 21-year-old Randy Drake Thrower was pronounced dead on the scene.

One passenger was air lifted to the University Of Maryland Medical Center, where he is listed in stable condition.

The other two were rushed to the nearest hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

It is reported that the Mazda has heavy damage to the front and the box truck has damage to the rear.

After investigation, police are saying alcohol, drugs, and fast speed was the cause of the crash.
