A 10-year-old was taken to the hospital Thursday after he was hit by a bus as school let out, according to the Anne Arundel County Police Department.
Just after 2:30 p.m., first responders were called to Woodside Elementary School on Funke Road in Glen Burnie.
Witnesses told responding firefighters that the boy stepped from the curb in front of the moving bus.
The child was taken to Johns Hopkins Children's Center with serious injuries.
