Biker seriously injured after rear-ending car in Glen Burnie

GLEN BURNIE, Md. — The Anne Arundel County Fire Department said a man was injured Sunday evening in a crash involving a motorcycle in Glen Burnie.

Fire officials said crews responded to the scene just before 7:00 p.m., in the area of of Mountain Road and Jumpers Hole Road. At the scene, firefighters found a 23-year-old man with possibly life-threatening injuries after his motorcycle struck the rear of a sedan.

Medics arrived to take the biker to Shock Trauma in Baltimore.

The Anne Arundel County Police Department is investigating the cause of the accident and will provide updated information.
