Anne Arundel County's head of economic development resigned Wednesday, five days after his arrest on burglary charges.

Robert Hannon, 70, was arrested Friday after his neighbor told police she caught him on her home security camera taking lingerie out of dresser drawers in her bedroom.

Hannon was working as Anne Arundel County Economic Development Corporation CEO at the time of the arrest and was placed on unpaid leave.
