Anne Arundel County readying for 64th annual county fair

CROWNSVILLE, Md. (AP) - Anne Arundel County is getting ready for its county fair.
 
The 64th annual fair begins Wednesday in Crownsville and continues through Sunday. The fair includes live music, magic shows, an antique tractor pull, pig races, a master woodcarver doing demonstrations, and carnival rides and games. Contests include a pie-eating contest, a watermelon eating contest, a hog calling contest and a scarecrow making contest.
 
Admission to the fair is $7 for anyone 16 and over and $5 for anyone age 6 to 15. Ages 5 and under get in free.
