The Anne Arundel County Department of Health is searching for anyone who may have had contact with a rabid cat that was found in the Odenton area.
Officials say the black and white domestic shorthair kitten tested positive for rabies after it was found near near the intersection of Charter Oaks Boulevard and Town Center Boulevard in the Seven Oaks Community.
If you had contact with the kitten in that area within the past two weeks, please call the Anne Arundel County Department of Health at 410-222-7256 weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and 443-481-3140 after business hours.
