ANNAPOLIS, Md. — The Anne Arundel County Board of Education on Wednesday amended the 2019-2020 School Year calendar to convert Tuesday, April 28, 2020, to an instructional day as a result of the movement of the primary election from that day to June 2, 2020.

The day will be a B day for middle schools and high schools.

The Board did not take action on any other part of the calendar tonight, including the last day of school for students.

State Superintendent of Schools Dr. Karen Salmon has not yet announced the status of schools past April 24, 2020.
