PASADENA, Md. — A 94-year-old man is dead following a two car crash Wednesday afternoon in Pasadena.

A Ford pick-up truck was northbound on Edwin Raynor Boulevard approaching the ramp from eastbound 100, when it struck a Honda Accord driven by Richard Cole Jones.

Police say Jones emerged from the ramp and failed to yield the right of way to the Ford pick-up.

Jones died on scene. His passenger, 90-year-old Catherine Hesse Jones, was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore with serious injuries.

The driver of the Ford was not hurt, however his 60-year-old passenger, suffered serious injuries and was taken to Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie.

Police don't think speed played a factor. Toxicology tests are pending to see if any drugs or alcohol were involved.
