ANNAPOLIS, Md. — A 59-year-old Baltimore woman died after her car was broadsided while she was leaving a Dunkin Donuts in Annapolis, Annapolis Police said.

Officers responded to a motor vehicle crash at the Dunkin Donuts, 2004 West Street, at about 8 a.m. Monday. Police said a 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier driven by Kimberly Kiriou was leaving the eatery’s driveway trying to turn east on West Street when she was struck by a 2018 Ford F150 driven by 23 year old Brett Edwards, of Glen Burnie.

The Ford struck the Chevrolet on the driver’s side, police said. Kiriou suffered life-threatening injures in the crash. She died after being taken to the Anne Arundel Medical Center. Edwards received minor injuries and was also treated at the same hospital.
