Hundreds of thousands of Marylanders cast their ballots during early voting, some of them right up to the last minute.
At 8:30 p.m. Thursday, the line outside of Towson University was still wrapped around the outside of the building. Thursday alone, 150,970 people cast their ballot.
The Maryland Board of Elections estimates that nearly 900,000 people voted during early voting, shattering the state's record. In 2012, 430,573 people voted during early voting.
