Snail mail might seem like a thing of the past, but now the U.S. Postal Service is finding new ways to keep up with an increasingly digital world.
A new feature called informed delivery will allow you to see what is coming to your mailbox anytime, anywhere, even while traveling. All you have to do is sign up and you are able to digitally preview your mail through email notifications, online dashboards, or a mobile app.
Another new feature coming soon is allowing customers to sign for deliveries using an electronic signature. This would be done through the informed delivery system and would help people who aren't always home to accept packages.
