A suspicious fire that destroyed a navy veteran's home in central Florida is under investigation after anti-Trump graffiti was written on the walls.
Navy veteran Matthew Smith lives in Plant City with his wife and children. The family was visiting relatives when Smith got a 3 a.m. phone call Tuesday from his neighbor that his home was on fire.
Smith's 8-year-old daughter's bed was set on fire and every other room in the home was damaged.
"The place was ransacked," Smith said.
The words "F-Trump, cracker, not my prez, and F-yo kids" were spray painted on the walls. Smith voted for Donald Trump and believes whoever did this copied anti-Trump protestors across the country.
The State Fire Marshal is investigating the suspicious fire as a possible arson case.
