Michael Phelps' wife posted on Instagram Monday morning that she and her husband are safe after their trip to Las Vegas.
According to the Instagram post, the Phelps' were back home and safe when the mass shooting that killed at least 50 and injured over 400 people happened.
The family had been in Las Vegas for the weekend.
Nicole Phelps wrote,
"My heart is heavy this morning after learning of the tragic incident that happened last night. I'm sending love, thoughts and prayers to anyone affected by the shootings."
