Maryland and other states file lawsuit against Trump Administration

Posted

Attorneys general in 17 states, including Maryland, are suing the Trump Administration over the separation of families at the U.S./Mexico border.

The attorneys general argue the practice is "irrationally discriminatory" and violates the constitutional guarantee of equal protection.

The White House has not yet commented on the lawsuit.

The Trump Administration has said it's working on reuniting families, but the process will take time.
