Police have arrested a northern Virginia man who they say shot and killed two people at a strip-mall hookah lounge.

The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said Monday it has arrested 34-year-old Hassan Gailani of Alexandria and charged him with two counts of first-degree murder.

The sheriff's office said it was called to the Pharaoh Cafe in Sterling shortly before 2 a.m. Monday. The victims were declared dead at the scene.

Deputies arrested Gailani in his car as he attempted to leave the scene.
