Some fisherman in Oregon wound up inches from death when a boat crashed into their's, actually winding up on top of it! And the terrifying collision was caught on camera.
This happened last summer in Oregon on the Columbia River. All three aboard the smaller boat got hurt.
Now the owner of the boat that was hit is suing for more than $372,000. The lawsuit claims the 75-year-old man driving the larger boat was using his cell phone at the time.
The driver denies that, telling police he was sitting and couldn't see the smaller boat below from over the dash. However the man's son-in-law told officers he warned his father-in-law to pay attention that day, and sometimes saw him using his phone at the wheel. The 75-year-old is fighting criminal charges.
The two other men on that fishing boat plan to file suits as well.
