Towson University professor not surprised by senate race

Eric Stokan is an associate professor of political science at Towson University.

After Chris Van Hollen was announced as Barbara Mikulski's successor in Senate, Stokan said he wasn't not surprised.

He teaches courses in metropolitan studies and state and local government, and has a Ph.D. in urban and social policy from the Trachtenberg School of Public Policy and Public Administration at The George Washington University.

Stokan specializes in the “intersection of economic development practices and city, regional, and state economic development and growth.”

Stokan said he's not surprised by Chris Van Hollen's win over the vacant Senate seat, previously held by Barbara Mikulski. See video above for more.
