If you attend a certain megachurch in South Carolina, your satisfaction is guaranteed - or your money back.
According to Christianity Today, parishioners to the NewSpring Church in Greenwood, S.C. can get their money back on their tithes. The church's pastor Perry Noble is allowing anyone who feels they have not received God's blessing a full refund of their tithe since March.
Participants offer 10 percent of their income to the church.
“Tithing is about being obedient, putting God first in our finances and training our hearts to trust him at his word,” church spokeswoman Suzanne Swift told Christianity Today. “It's one of the hardest next steps for many people to take, and the 90-day tithe challenge is one way we can help people with that step.”
The church has had a similar offering in the past. The church claims that fewer than 1 percent have requested a refund.
