Yet another struggling department store chain has announced plans to close dozens of stores.
Bon-Ton plans to close at least 40 stores in 2018 after seeing sales drop more than seven percent in the third quarter, according to USA Today. The York, Pennsylvania-based company has lost more than $135 million dollars from January through September of this year.
The company is not saying which of its 260 locations in the U.S. will go dark.
Bon-Ton has locations 24 states across the Northeast, Midwest and upper Great Plains, according to its website.
