ELKRIDGE, Md. — A woman died after being struck by a MARC train Tuesday morning in Elkridge.
It happened just after 8:30 am in the 5800 block of Race Road.
Howard County Police identified the pedestrian as 32-year-old Lynette Michelle Green.
Witnesses told investigators that the train's horn was blaring to alert Green, but she didn't move.
Detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances leading up to Green's death.
