Four Maryland police departments are in the running for a K-9 grant.
The Aftermath K-9 grant is given to law enforcement agencies and first responders across the United States. The department with the most votes gets $5,000 to use for their K-9 units.
45 different departments are in the running for the mid-Atlantic region including: the Harford County Sheriff's Office, the Mount Airy Police Department, Riverdale Police Department and the Laurel Police Department.
Voting opened October 23rd and goes until November 3rd. Winners will be announced November 6th. You can cast your vote here.
