Violent Monday in Baltimore City: Four killed in shootings, four others injured

BALTIMORE — Four people were killed and four were injured in Baltimore shootings Monday.

The first shooting took place at noon in the 700 block of East Jeffrey Street where a 28 year old man was shot and killed.

Later in the day at around 5:30 p.m., a man was shot in the leg on Eutaw at Fayette Street. A second victim was also located on Baltimore at Howard Street suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg and back. Both victims were taken to area hospitals where they are listed in stable condition.

At 6:42 p.m., officers responded to a local hospital for walk in shooting victims and found two men suffering from gunshot wounds to the body.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victims were at the intersection of McKean at Mosher Street when they were both shot by an unidentified suspect.

Officers responded to a local hospital for a walk in shooting victim just after 7 p.m. and found a 19-year-old suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was in the 800 block of Beaumont Avenue when he was shot by an unidentified suspect.

Two hours later a woman was found shot in the area of 1300 block of West Pratt Street. She was taken to an area hospital where she later died.

A second woman was located in the 200 block of South Carey Street with multiple gunshot wounds to the body.

Medics pronounced that victim dead on the scene.
