BALTIMORE — Vice President Kamala Harris visited Baltimore on Thursday, marking 100 days since she and President Joe Biden were sworn into office.
Vice President Harris was accompanied by Dr. Anthony Fauci, Gov. Larry Hogan, Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott, Senator Chris Van Hollen and other officials.
The site is a partnership between the University of Maryland Medical System, the Maryland Department of Health, the Maryland National Guard, and the Maryland Stadium Authority.
Vice President Harris greeted and thanked patients who were being vaccinated as well as offered appreciation to frontline healthcare workers. “Here in Baltimore, you guys are doing amazing work,” the Vice President said.
“Our staff and leadership at the M&T Bank Stadium Mass Vaccination Site have been working tirelessly to get all Marylanders vaccinated,” said University of Maryland Medical System President and CEO Mohan Suntha, MD. “We appreciate the Vice President taking time to recognize the efforts of our team.”
