ROSEDALE, Md. — Two men have been arrested and charged, nearly one month after a father and son were found shot to death in Rosedale.

The bodies of 55 year-old Christopher Walker and 24-year-old Justin Walker, were discovered the night of October 11 in the 7400 block of Plainview Road.

Baltimore County Police say the two were murdered, and have since charged 24-year-old Ameer D. Gittens and Derrick T. Jamison, 25.

Investigators have not revealed a motive.

"Whether they were specifically targeted, that is being investigated at this point," said Joy Stewart, Public Affairs Director for the Baltimore County Police Department. "As far as the community, our detectives are out actively searching for the suspect who committed this crime."

WMAR-2 News spoke to neighbors on and off camera about last night's shooting. One woman who asked not to be identified described what she believed to be gunshots 20 to 30 minutes before police arrived.

It sounded like five or six times that we heard something that we appear to potentially be gunshots, but we didn’t know what it was. We were just sitting in the living room watching TV," she said.

Wayne Dudley was coming home from watching the Ravens game when he saw police around 1:30.

"There were some unmarked cars probably halfway down the street," he said. "As soon as I saw that I knew something was wrong. I did see three or four people out there by the car hugging each other."

One neighbor who asked not to be identified came out to the Walkers home to offer up a prayer.

"Everyone says this that this never happens in our neighborhood, but it truly never does happen in our neighborhood," she said. "I came down to say a prayer at the house where the people passed away."
