Two dead in Middle River murder-suicide; police continue to investigate

MIDDLE RIVER, Md. — Baltimore County Police are continuing to investigate a Middle River murder-suicide.

Officers were called to the 3900 block of Bayville Road for an attempted suicide with a gun on Thursday, just before 10:30 p.m.

Once inside the home, officers found 18-year-old April Renee Lawson, who lived in the home, suffering from gunshot wounds to her upper body. Michael Ruben Morris, 20, suffered from what appeared to have been a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the upper body.

Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

Baltimore County Police Homicide Detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surround this incident.
