COLLEGE PARK, Md (WMAR) — An investigation is underway after a man allegedly broke into a home and committed a sex offense on campus at College Park.

UMD Police say the incident happened on Sunday just after 8:30 a.m. at an Elkton Hall residence.

The suspect reportedly entered through an unlocked door and allegedly got into bed with a female occupant.

During the encounter, the suspect mentioned the words, "OG Legend." The man eventually left in an unknown direction after the woman began to yell.

Police say the man was only wearing a pair of red and blue plaid shorts. He's described as being heavyset, with a round face, brown eyes and short brown hair.

On Monday police say the suspect has been identified and there is no threat to the campus community. They also added that additional information will be shared within the next 24 hours.
