The U.S. Department of Education office of Federal Student Aid wants to remind you that the deadline to submit a FAFSA form is March 1.
Submitting FAFSA is crucial because it's used to determine student's eligibility for federal grants, work-study funds and loans. Also, some states, colleges, and private scholarship organizations use FAFSA information to determine their financial aid, which may be awarded on a first come, first served basis.
To fill out and submit the FAFSA form, you can click on fafsa.gov[studentaid.gov] or access the form through the myStudentAid mobile app.
