BALTIMORE — A woman's fence on the city's southwest side is getting a makeover after it was hit by a Baltimore City trash truck last Tuesday.

"Mr. Waters is an angel. He's a very good person," said Jeannette Carter-Bey. "They're coming out, fixing my fence and I'm glad."

Adrian Waters owns Landlord Gopher, a property management company out of Ellicott City. He saw Jeannette's story and said he could help.

"I deal with contractors daily," said Waters. "I was raised by both my grandmothers and an amazing godmother who was like another grandmother to me and they were all on fixed income. I heard her say she was on a fixed income and it just spoke to me."

The fence should be fully-fixed by Friday.

"I'm just happy I'll be able to roll out my garbage can Monday night and place it between the gate," said Carter-Bey.
