(WMAR) — Kids help kids with cancer. That's what pre-schoolers did on Friday.
It was the annual Trike-a-thon at the Church of the Redeemer Parish Day School. The event raises money for Johns Hopkins Pediatric Oncology.
"It's really important. I think of it as one of the most important things that we do all year. Our children know the hopkins name, it's familiar to them and they also love that they know they are helping sick children get better," said Mary Knott, Director of Church of the Redeemer Parish School.
About 80 kids from five schools participated in the Trike-a-thon.
