ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Anne Arundel County police are warning of electronic applications soliciting child pornography.

The apps specifically target children and threaten them if they don't take and send nude photographs.

Police say they learned about the apps on Wednesday, when a five-year-old child somehow became exposed to them on a cellphone.

The apps go by the names “Talking Angela”, “Talking Angela 2”, Talking Tom 2”, and “Talking Ben 2."

Police are urging parents to constantly monitor their child's online activity and use of social media, and ask that any suspicious apps be reported.
