Police: subject involved in 'possible behavioral crisis' has been taken into custody

BALTIMORE — The subject that was involved in possible behavioral crisis has been taken into custody without incident, according to Baltimore Police.

On Friday, Southeast District officers were called to the 1500 block of Bradford Street to investigate a 38-year-old man, who was displaying erratic behavior.

Upon their arrival, the subject went into his home, refused to exit the premises and threatened harm if police entered. Erring on the side of caution, officers called resources to the scene and were attempting to communication with the subject.

A couple hours later, they were able to take the subject in custody, without incident. The subject will be transported to an area hospital and undergo a mental health evaluation.

The incident is isolated and contained to the 1500 block at this time.
